More PvP than PvE
Rune Slayer is a PvE-based MMORPG, which I initially thought was the case, but PvP is actually taking over the game!
Open-World Better than Minecraft
It's open-world game you'll get a lot of Minecraft-like content in the game, as you'll need to chop down trees, mine and fight.
7 Different Races
There are 7 different races in Rune Slayer, each with their own unique specialties and unique professions!
Multi-Class
Rune Slayer has many different classes, you can choose one or multi-class for your character.
Game Mechanics for Rune Slayer
Learn how to control your character in Rune Slayer, the controls are very simple, just memorize these keys
Currency
The game has 3 currencies, Copper, Silver and Gold, 100 Copper = 1 Silver and 100 Silver = 1 Gold.
Crafting Bench
The Crafting Bench is used for crafting items, where you can create Weapons, Armors, Tools and Runes.

Rune Slotting
Runes are unique items in Rune Slayer that are either dropped by killing Mobs or Bosses, or purchased from NPCs.
Lesser Runes
These are more common runes that you can get by killing Mobs, and they will provide a small stats to your Armor / Weapon.
Greater Runes
These runes have a low drop probability by kill mobs, and you need to killing specific bosses or buy them to get them.
You will need to spend a certain amount of currency at the blacksmith's to attach runes to weapons or armors.
Basic Control
- Use WSAD keys to control character movement
- Use Space Bar to jump
- Use Left Click to Attack & Right Click to Feint
- Use Mid Click to set summon state
- Use R key for Heavy Attack
- Use F key for Parrry & Hold F key for Block
- Press W + Hold W to run
- Press Q to dash & Q + Right Mouse to Cancel Dash
- Press Ctrl to crouch & Run(W + Hold W) + Ctrl to Slide
- Use X key for Equip Weapon
- Use P key for Toggle Helmet Vanity
- Use T key for Change Pet State
- Hold T key for despawn/spawn pet
Stats
Health (HP)
Your base health is 100 and increasing with 5 HP per level.
Mana
Mana is one of the basic values of the game, Magician and Priest need to use Mana to release their skills.
Focus
Most skills require drain focus, and if it's empty, the skill cannot be used.
Hunger
Drains overtime, and when regenerating health, if it is empty you will not regen health.
